Recently, cyber attacks using undetectable malicious software have become a social problem. Accordingly, we started research on countermeasure technology against such malware. Specifically, a virtual system is created repeatedly as software. Then, this system replaces the existing virtual system one after another. Finally, the replaced virtual system is removed from the physical system. By means of repetition of this procedure, the physical system can be always maintained in a malware-free clean state. We are planning to implement a prototype system in the near future.ResearchAreasInformaticsKeyword■Information communication■Network■System■Architecture■SecurityRelatedresearchSDGToward achieving safe and secure information communication systemsProfessorJunichi MurayamaUndergraduate School of Information and Telecommunication EngineeringDepartment of Communication and Network EngineeringI am conducting research on embedding digital watermarks in 3D objects. In the proposed method, the only way to erase the embedded information is to damage the shape of the object. This provides a high deterrent power.ResearchAreasInformaticsKeyword■Information security■Coding theoryRelatedresearchSDGWatermarking Method for Embedding into the External Shapes of ObjectsProfessorHiroshi YamamotoUndergraduate School of Information and Telecommunication EngineeringDepartment of Communication and Network Engineering93
