品川キャンパスでは7月31日に、ウズベキスタン共和国 デジタル省一行の訪問を受けました。当日はルスタム?カリムジョノフ副大臣ら5名が来訪され、本学の小山晶子教授（国際担当部長）、濱本和彦教授（学長室担当部長）と懇談しました。まず小山教授より澳门特区赌场_澳门英皇娱乐_彩客网官网推荐の沿革を、濱本教授より本学の情報通信学部の紹介とIT教育の概要について説明しました。続いてルスタム?カリムジョノフ副大臣からは、「デジタル?ウズベキスタン2030」に沿って、ITを産業の中心にした国づくりについての説明があり、「学生交流?研究者交流をとおしてIT人材養成に協力して欲しい」とお話しされました。また、濱本教授から、「修士レベルの学生交流から始めることを検討して欲しい」との発言がなされ、今後の更なる交流のために在日ウズベキスタン大使館とも協議していくことになりました。
On July 31, our Shinagawa Campus received a visit from a delegation of the Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies in Republic of Uzbekistan. On the day, Mr. Rustam Karimjonov, Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies and the party visited our campus and had a discussion with Dr. Seiko Oyama, Executive Director for Global Initiative and Dr. Kazuhiko Hamamoto, Executive Director for Office of the Chancellor. First, Dr. Seiko Oyama introduced the history of the university, and then Dr. Kazuhiko Hamamoto introduced the Department of Information and Communication Engineering and its curriculum. Mr. Rustam Karimjonov explained about the country’s development based on the Digital Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy, which places IT at the center of the industry, and expressed his hopes to support the development of IT human resources through the exchange of students and researchers. In response, Dr. Kazuhiko Hamamoto said, “I would like you to consider starting with a master’s level student exchange. We would like to consult with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Japan for further cooperation.”
